Advanced Neuroscience Programme
Combining Clinical Science, Neurotechnology and Personalised Care
At NeuroLab Mental Health, we believe that effective treatment should be guided by objective data, clinical expertise and measurable outcomes.

Assessment is only the beginning of the journey.
Our Advanced Neuroscience Programme integrates psychological, psychiatric, neuropsychological and neuroscience-based interventions into a single coordinated treatment pathway designed to support brain health, emotional wellbeing and cognitive performance.
Rather than viewing neuroscience interventions as standalone treatments, we incorporate them into a comprehensive care plan tailored to the individual’s unique needs, goals and clinical presentation.
This allows us to combine traditional therapeutic approaches with cutting-edge neurotechnology to create truly personalised treatment pathways.
Our Integrated Neuroscience Approach
Every programme begins with a comprehensive understanding of the individual.
Depending on clinical needs, this may include:
- Clinical psychological assessment
- Neurodevelopmental assessment (ADHD and Autism)
- Neuropsychological assessment
- Psychiatric review
- Quantitative EEG (QEEG) brain mapping
- Cognitive and executive functioning assessment
- Sleep assessment where relevant
Assessment findings are then used to create an individualised treatment plan that may incorporate a range of neuroscience-based interventions.
Available Neuroscience Interventions
Through the NeuroLab Advanced Neuroscience Programme, patients may access:

Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback uses real-time information about brain activity to help individuals develop greater self-regulation of attention, emotional control and cognitive functioning.
It may be beneficial for:
- ADHD
- Attention difficulties
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Anxiety
- Peak performance training
- Cognitive optimization

Quantitative EEG (QEEG)
QEEG provides objective information regarding patterns of brain activity and functional brain networks.
Brain mapping may help guide treatment planning and provide additional information regarding cognitive, emotional and attentional functioning.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is an evidence-based, non-invasive neuromodulation treatment that uses precisely targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate specific brain networks associated with mood, emotional regulation and cognitive functioning.
TMS is recognised internationally as an effective treatment option for a range of mental health conditions and has become one of the most significant advances in biological psychiatry over the past two decades.
Research supports its use in conditions such as:
- Depression
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Anxiety Disorders
- Trauma-related difficulties
- Chronic insomnia
- Emotional dysregulation
Unlike medication-based approaches, TMS directly targets the neural networks involved in symptom generation without requiring systemic medication exposure. Sessions are non-invasive, do not require anaesthesia and allow individuals to return immediately to their normal daily activities.

Cognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Performance
Where appropriate, neuroscience interventions may be combined with cognitive rehabilitation, executive functioning coaching and performance optimisation strategies to support long-term outcomes.

A NeuroLab-Led Treatment Pathway
A key difference of our programme is that neuroscience interventions do not occur in isolation.
Â
Every recommendation is reviewed within the context of the individual’s broader clinical formulation, ensuring that psychological therapy, psychiatry, neuropsychology and neuroscience interventions work together towards shared treatment goals.
Â
This integrated model allows patients to receive coordinated care rather than fragmented treatment across multiple providers.
Our Neuroscience Network
As part of our commitment to providing access to leading evidence-based interventions, NeuroLab collaborates with a select network of neuroscience specialists and treatment providers.
For Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, NeuroLab works closely with Smart TMS, one of the most established providers of TMS services in the United Kingdom and Ireland and among the first organisations to introduce TMS treatment in Ireland. Smart TMS has extensive experience delivering evidence-based neuromodulation programmes for depression, OCD, anxiety and related conditions.
Patients remain under the care and clinical coordination of NeuroLab throughout their treatment journey, while benefiting from access to highly specialised neuroscience interventions delivered through our extended clinical network.
Together, we provide a seamless pathway that combines assessment, treatment and outcome monitoring within a single integrated model of care.
